See all the photos from this series here: http://www.behance.net/gallery/Nobodys-looking/11282187Paris is the capital and most populous city of France. It is situated on the River Seine, in the north of the country, at the heart of the Île-de-France region. With a population density of 21,000/km2 (not counting the 44 million annual tourists) you’re bound to be surrounded by people (mostly) everywhere you go.This series is part of a twin project (Nobody/Everybody is looking) focusing on inter-human relations in over-crowded, crammed, busy metropoles such as Paris. Although we are literally surrounded by a sea of people (be they Parisians, French in general or foreigners) we are essentially alone."Nobody’s looking" tries to empathize the social alienation that (paradoxically) big cities bring about through the usage of the (stolen) look as I believe people are quintessentially themselves when they do not know they are being photographed.
